We had an issue with my son's 2002 Toyota Tacoma 4WD truck in which the clutch was not engaging and it was not driveable. We took it to a shop in town and they indicated that it was the transmission. It was going to cost a significant amount of money and likely we would have to get a salvage transmission as there weren't many manual transmissions for this truck left. We brought the truck to AAMCO for a second opinion and worked with Mike. Mike let us know that the 4WD shifter had been accidentally bumped to neutral and there were no issues with the truck. I wanted to commend Mike for his professionalism and integrity as they saved us a significant amount of money. Often auto repair businesses have a stigma of being shady or dishonest. Please know that this is definitely not the case with Mike and AAMCO.
Excellent customer service! Had a concern about my car that I expressed when leaving it for an oil change. They diagnosed and repaired everything quickly and at a reasonable rate. Always great to find honest car repair! Ask for Eddy
I own a 2001 Acura TL and if you want it done correctly this is where you need to get it done. This car had the check engine and traction control sensor lights come on after the installation of transmission, the parts were ordered and installed, after driving it some days and getting it rescanned it finally cleared itself. The car runs great 234,265 miles going smoothly I'm extremely pleased with the service and the entire staff thanks for a well done professional job.
Friendly, honest, and very thorough! I would only recommend this shop in the area and surrounding areas. Quality work you that you can trust and depend on!!! Thank you to all the professional hard working employees!
